Games for Change is proud to be launching the Verizon Innovative Learning Esports League, in partnership with Verizon. This free scholastic esports league for middle & high schools will enable educators across the country to engage their students in a safe, toxicity-free environment that combines students’ passion for gaming with a focus on well-being and social-emotional learning.

This league is designed to create a more relaxed competitive environment for students who still want the excitement of weekly competitions, without the stress and pressure of a Varsity team. It's more about hanging out with your friends and playing video games, and less about the 'always play to win' mentality of traditional sports. We're just out here to play for fun, but still compete!

Games will still be played on their designated days, but unlike Varsity, there are no splits, or split finals. If you've competed with Vanta in the past, this format will be familiar. At the end of the 10-week season, the top teams based on score will play in a single-day tournament, and we'll still be crowning champions in those games—complete with trophies!
